Blue Wednesdays!
We are quite pleased to find ourselves playing every second Wednesday night at "Bartholomew's" in the Executive House Hotel here in Victoria! Bart's, as it is commonly known, has been one of the most ardent supporters of live music with entertainment presented almost every night! AK and the Uncles, The Pinkertons, etc...
Auntie Kate and Uncle Tom with Brother Dave, otherwise known as The Pinkertons, have released their first CD and celebrated with a party on Saltspring Island at Steffich Fine Art. Lots of friends and fans made it a truly fun event! Next up for The P's is a Halloween gig at the Saltspring Legion on Oct 28th and a performance the next evening (Oct 29th) at the Saltspring Inn. The Pinkertons and Auntie Kate and the Uncles of Funk will share an evening entertaining the crowd at the "Surrounded by Cedars Foster Parent Appreciation Night" at the Edelweiss Club in Victoria on Nov. 2nd. Auntie Kate and the Uncles will perform shows on Nov. 4th at MyBar in Victoria and Saltspring's Moby's Bar and Grill on Nov 5th! Lots of action and ferry travel for the bands! - Oct 12th, 2011

An "Unplugged" show at Hermann's...
We will be playing an acoustic show at Hermann's Jazz Club on Sat. Oct 8th at 8pm. Auntie Kate, Tom and Christian will be playing all the hits in an intimate atmosphere, not mellower, just quieter. Opening for the trio will be "Stimpy Jazz", playing instrumental jazz standards sure to get the vibe pumping!! Tix at the door for a paltry $8. Saltair City Limits
We are happy to be going back to play the Saltair City Limits this year, where we will be opening the show for the legendary "Powder Blues Band".
